Dr. Tim Dutra

Dr. Tim Dutra is Assistant Professor in Applied Biomechanics and Clinical Investigator at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. He is a podiatric consultant for the athletic teams at the University of California at Berkeley. He is past president of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, and American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Tim Dutra received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, Master of Science in Kinesiology at California State University, Hayward, and Master of Health Care Administration at California State University, East Bay. His special interests are in youth sports injuries, wound care, and exercise. He is a national lecturer in podiatric sports medicine. He has coached youth sports for over 15 years in soccer, basketball, and baseball, as well as high school tennis. Hobbies include golf, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and guitar.
